How to book a covid test in Sunderland during lockdown
The NHS test and trace service ensures that anyone who develops symptoms of Covid-19 can quickly be tested to find out if they have the virus.
Anyone with symptoms can book a free test though the NHS online and attend a drive-through or walk-in test centre.

Hide AdMost units are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week with several different locations available.
Alternatively, you can ring 119 to book a test over the phone.
If you test positive for Covid-19 or have close contact with someone who has tested positive you will be contacted by the national Test and Trace programme.
A home test kit can also be delivered straight to your front door – this can be registered online.
