Sunderland dental practice expands with more dental appointments available within the week
One of the city’s most high-tech dental practices is investing in its facilities, to be able to treat even more patients.
City Dental is opening a new surgery within the practice at Seaburn Dene, increasing capacity by 25 per cent.
It’s the latest in a series of investments in this forward-thinking practice, which offers patients all the treatments they need, all under one roof.
Owned by dental technicians Colin Caster and Mark Maley, City Dental has grown to offer a huge range of treatments. Of course, standard check-ups are done, but with a range of dentists, dental surgeons, hygienists, nurses and technicians all working in-house, they can do everything you would expect from a progressive dental practice. Treatments include; crowns, bridges, implants, orthodontics (Invisalign), teeth whitening, smile design and bespoke dentures all delivered in a timely fashion.
Colin said that by expanding they would be able to take on even more staff.

“There’s a real growth in demand for services in the area,” he said, “and this will allow us to increase our capacity for patients by 25 per cent, while maintaining our high standards.”
Increasing the staff levels and the number of appointments will mean plenty more people will be able to access affordable dental care. The City Dental team is proud to be able to offer almost all patients appointments within a week, and emergency appointments on demand.
They also offer a range of dental plans, starting at just £9.95 per month. Family plans cover children’s check-ups free of charge, and all include regular check-ups within the monthly fee and much more, including the innovative AIRFLOW hygiene treatment.
