Cash helps plant a green future

The cost, £2,500, has been funded by the Council’s east area community leaders’ programme.

“The ward councillors thought it would be a good idea to use some of the money from the community leaders’ programme to start replacing some of the ward’s lost trees.”
The streets are: Newlands Avenue, Bainbridge Avenue, Thornhill Park, Sea View Road, Linden Road, Victoria Avenue West, Queen Alexandra Road and Wallingford Avenue.
