Cinema jobs: New Dalton Park multiplex begins recruitment drive for 35 posts
Cineworld is creating up to 35 new jobs at its new seven screen cinema in Dalton Park, which is set to open in September.
The chain will hold a recruitment day for prospective employees on Saturday, July 2, at The Glebe Centre in Seaham.

Hide AdThe session will run from 10am-4pm and it will offer the opportunity to find out more about the available jobs.
Nick Bashford, Cineworld Dalton Park General Manager, said: “I am very excited to be part of this new project and am looking forward to bringing a new multiplex cinema to Dalton Park.
Coun Neil Foster, Durham County Council’s Cabinet member for economic regeneration and culture, added: “The growth of our county’s economy is one of the council’s top priorities so it’s been great to see the Cineworld development taking shape in Dalton Park.
“When the new cinema opens it will be a real boost for County Durham, as it will create a number of local jobs for residents as well as attracting even more visitors to the area.”

Hide AdCineworld is part of the £45million expansion at Dalton park, which includes KFC, Pizza Express and Frankie and Benny’s restaurants. The development will also feature a non-food store, petrol station, pub and hotel.
Cineworld Group was founded in 1995 and now operates 89 cinemas in the UK and Ireland, of which 83 are multiplex sites with five screens or more.
