One person taken to hospital after group of men allegedly damage several vehicles and assault man in Sunderland
Police were called to Marley Crescent in Sunderland shortly after 12am today, Monday, July 12 following a report of disturbance.
It was reported that a group of males got out a black car and damaged a number of vehicles in the street before assaulting a man and making off.

Hide AdOfficers attended the scene and a man was taken to hospital in a non-life threatening condition.
The force has now launched an investigation following the incident.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Shortly after 12am today (Monday) we received a report of disturbance in the Marley Crescent area of Sunderland.
“It was reported that a group of males exited a black car and damaged a number of vehicles in the street before assaulting a man and making off.

Hide Ad“Officers attended the scene and located the male who was taken to hospital where he remains in a non-life threatening condition.
“An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the disturbance and the identity of those involved.
