Five fun festive activities for children to get into the Christmas spirit

As a parent, it can be difficult to think how to entertain your children during the holiday season. While there is no snow to play in (yet) here are five festive activities to keep your little ones smiling.
Saturday, December 14, 1pm to 3pm
Make amazing blueprint Christmas cards and calendars with artist Jo Howell.
Entry is free, but a donation of £2 is suggested.
Sunday, December 15, 3pm to 4pm

Hide AdCreative story telling, and live Christmas carols as well as a kids Christmas party. There will be fun, games, competitions and a creative retelling of the Christmas Story. There will also be hand crafted drinks and seasonal snacks.
Tickets are free but you must pre-register.
Saturday, December 14, 12pm to 2.30pm
Children can come in their PJ’s for a ‘cozy time’ to watch the Polar Express with their family.
Ticket prices for Nissan employees £3 per ticket and £10 for a family ticket, for the public £4 per ticket and £12 for a family ticket.
Which includes nibbles for during the films, hotdog with onions and sauces and refreshments available from the bar.

Hide AdChildren can mess around with fun activities like reindeer dust, Brussel sprout rolling and candy cane rice, or get messy with angel foam, Santa goo and Christmas pud.
Pre-booking is essential and tickets cost £6 to £10.
Tuesday, December 17, 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Hot chocolate, cookies, candy canes, Christmas carols, fairy lights and most importantly - a visit from Santa!
All children will receive a small gift from Santa which will be personalised with their name and age (specify this on booking).
Only children need a ticket and two adults go free with each paying child, ticket price is £17.
