It was all part of Children in Need’s “Act Your Age” charity drive which was officially partnered with girl guiding where guides were encouraged to raise money with ideas representing their age.
As Mia is 10-years-old, she decided that she would walk 10 miles in an effort to raise money for the charity, setting herself a £100 target.

Mia’s mum, Jen Mitchelson, has told the Echo about how proud she is of her daughter for completing the challenge.
The 36-year-old said: “It’s not easy to walk 10 miles so I’m really proud of her for managing to do it.
"She absolutely loved the walk and enjoys doing things for other people as she understands that some are less fortunate than others.

She added: “I really didn’t expect it, I honestly thought we’d struggle to hit the £100 target.
"This year has been a hard year for so many people so we are really grateful for all the donations and messages of support for Mia.”
