DAVID Dolan hopes to be fighting for the British title before the end of the year.
The 28-year-old made a spectacular cruiserweight debut in Liverpool last night when he knocked out Brazilian KO king Elvecio Sobral.
Dolan floored the South American in round four at the Everton Park Leisure Centre with the 27-year-old being counted out by referee Mike Alexander.
Now, Dolan hopes for an eight-round bout in early Autumn as a prelude for a challenge to the winner of the British championship match between Londoner Michael Steeds and Rob Norton of Derby.
