Sunderland to sign Danny Graham on a one-year deal

The veteran striker has been on trial at the Academy of Light and Phil Parkinson has been keen to bring him back to Wearside following a spell at the Stadium of Light earlier in his career.

Graham will now battle Will Grigg, Charlie Wyke and Aiden O’Brien for a starting spot up front.

Sunderland host Bristol Rovers in League One on Saturday afternoon in a behind-closed-doors game.
