After beating Swindon Town at the weekend, Parkinson will have to decide whether to rotate his squad ahead of a busy period of fixtures.
So with that in mind, could this be the team that starts against the Railwaymen – with two changes from the win in Wiltshire?

1. GK: Lee Burge
The stopper was scarcely tested at Swindon Town, and has established himself as the Black Cats' first choice between the sticks this season. Photo: FRANK REID 2020
2. CB: Jordan Willis
There were concerns over Willis after he was withdrawn early on during Saturday's victory - but Phil Parkinson has confirmed that the defender's injury is not as serious as many had feared. If fully fit, it seems inevitable that the centre back will once again start. Photo: FRANK REID 2020
3. CB: Bailey Wright
An ever-present in League One this term, Wright will once again line-up in the centre of the back three against Crewe. Photo: Frank Reid
4. CB: Luke O'Nien
With Tom Flanagan sidelined through injury and Dion Sanderson having had limited time to prepare for the fixture, O'Nien could again be asked to deputise in the back three. He's certainly done well in that role thus far! Photo: Frank Reid
